Thousands of used baby diapers that were expected to end up in the trash this time appeared in an unexpected place. In Wales, about 80,000 diapers were recycled and turned into part of the asphalt.
In Galler, a notable recycling project was implemented in environmentally friendly road construction. In the Carmarthenshire region, fibers recovered from about 80,000 used baby diapers were used in asphalt production. Thanks to the project, about 4 tons of waste were prevented from going to the landfill, and it was noted that the application did not incur additional material costs.
