It was revealed that Turkish national Berk ‘Samuel’ Balgıç, who lives in the U.S., admitted to charges that he illegally employed undocumented migrants and encouraged them to stay.was announced.

Authorities stated that the 26-year-old Balgıç owns Flaming Margaritas – Mexican Kitchen and Flaming Margaritas – American Kitchen, two restaurants operating in Branson, Missouri.

Federal court records indicate that Balgıç knowingly hired individuals in the U.S. who were either undocumented or had violated their visa conditions.

The prosecution’s statement noted that fake documents were provided to workers to make them appear compliant with U.S. immigration laws.

It was reported that U.S. Department of Homeland Security teams conducted a search at the restaurants and Balgıç’s residence on August 20, 2025.

Authorities confirmed that at least 13 people were found to have been illegally employed during the operation. Officials stated they determined Balgıç had been exploiting undocumented migrants since at least August 2024.

The prosecution reported that as part of the agreement, Berk Balgıç admitted to the crime and agreed to be deported from the U.S. after serving his sentence.
