A magnificent evening is being prepared in Houston for the Republic's 103rd anniversary. At the traditional Republic Day Gala organized by the American Turkish Association of Houston (ATA-Houston), this year Aşkın Nur Yengi will take the stage.
The Turkish community living in the U.S. state of Texas is preparing to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the Republic with a special gala night. The highlight of the evening, to be organized by the American Turkish Association of Houston (ATA-Houston), will be the beloved Turkish music artist Aşkın Nur Yengi.
The 103rd Anniversary of the Republic to be Celebrated in Houston.
The Republic Day celebration, to be held under the name “Turkish Republic Day Gala,” will take place on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria.
The evening, expected to bring together the Turkish community in Houston and its surroundings, will celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the Republic's founding with music and entertainment.
Aşkın Nur Yengi to Take the Stage in Houston.
One of the gala’s highlights will be Aşkın Nur Yengi’s concert. The artist, who has long been among the leading figures of Turkish pop music, will meet with the Turkish community in Houston for Republic Day this time.
In the night's music program, alongside Aşkın Nur Yengi, NOVA Band Texas will also take the stage.
Tickets Are on Sale
Ticket sales for the event have also begun. Prices range from $200 to $275 per person, depending on table and seating arrangement. Two drinks are included with each ticket, and refunds are not available for tickets purchased through the organization.
ATA-Houston's Traditional Republic Gathering
Founded in 1979, the American Turkish Association of Houston has been organizing various events for years to promote Turkish culture in the region and strengthen ties between the Turkish and American communities.
Republic Day galas are also among the association's traditional events. In previous years, celebrations featuring various artists brought the Turkish community in Houston together under one roof for Republic Day.
This year, on the night that coincides with the 103rd anniversary of the Republic, the focus will be on Aşkın Nur Yengi’s stage. The Turkish community in Houston will celebrate Republic Day on 24 Ekim and will also have the chance to listen live to one of the beloved names of Turkish music.
