No news has been received of 31‑year‑old Mete Şahin, who lives in Michigan, U.S., since 26 September. His wife, İpek Şahin, who said she could not find him in his vehicle in Ohio, called for help, saying she was worried about her husband's life.
It was reported that Mete Şahin, who has been living in the United States for about two years, disappeared after posting the message "Make your rights lawful" from his social media account on September 26.
According to his family, as reported to ABDPost.com, Şahin, who has been in his vehicle for some time, also has his phone turned off.
Şahin's vehicle was found near Diamond Mill Road in Ohio. However, no one was found in the vehicle.
His family said that, even after about a month had passed, they had not heard from him and their concerns had increased.

Reaching out to ABDPost, İpek Şahin also asked the Turkish community in the United States for support in finding her husband.
Şahin said that he, his spouse, their children and family were awaiting a message from him, adding that even the smallest piece of information could help them.
It was reported that the family had previously contacted the police, but during the checks no information about Mete Şahin's condition could be obtained.
The family requested that anyone who had seen Mete Şahin, encountered him, or had information about his whereabouts inform the nearest police unit.
