The tattoo artist who returned from ABD to Turkey explained the reason: "Everything is not about money"

The tattoo artist Fatih Erdal, who had lived for many years in the ABD and continued his work in various states, shared his experiences on his social media account after returning to Türkiye. Despite gaining good financial opportunities in America, Erdal said he did not feel belonging or peace, adding, 'Even if you ride a Mercedes or a Ferrari, something is missing.'

Social media user who said it has been 6 months since returning from the US to TurkeyFatih Erdal, shared the reasons behind his decision to return with his followers.

After settling in America, Erdal said he had been in many cities such as New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago, and that he continued his tattoo art during this period and obtained various certifications.

Erdal said that after his decision to leave the US, some people reacted against him, even thinking he had been expelled from the country, and that these claims do not reflect reality.

"I have traveled more in America than a single American."

Erdal, who said he toured different states during his time in America, stated that he not only lived in the country but also continued his work related to his profession.

Erdal, who said he also had a 10‑year tourist visa in addition to his artist visa, said he ended his life in the U.S. by his own choice.

"I Couldn't Find a Better Place Than Istanbul"

He said that in Erdal's decision to return, it was more about where he felt at peace than economic conditions.

The tattoo artist, who said he had seen many regions of the U.S., nevertheless said he could not find a place where he felt more at home than Istanbul.

"I’ve moved past the economy and all that. I really feel so at peace living here..."

Erdal, who was in the U.S. and had been shouldering many problems excessively, said that after returning to Turkey he began to view events differently, indicating that distancing himself showed him that many things were not as large a problem as he had thought.

"I Got on the Best Cars, It Didn't Work"

Erdal, who said he had many opportunities in his material life in the U.S., indicated that he had also reached the conditions he wanted regarding cars and housing.

However, Erdal, who expressed that the opportunities he had did not make him happy, drew attention with the following words:

"Even if you get on a Mercedes, even if you get on a Ferrari, something is missing."

Erdal, who said he lived in houses with pools in the U.S., owned good cars and worked in quality studios, nonetheless said he did not feel a sense of belonging.

"That car is not yours, that house is not yours"

Erdal, while assessing his life in the United States, emphasized that there is a difference between material resources and a sense of belonging.

"That car is not yours, that house is not yours. Nothing belongs to you. You can't feel it."

Erdal, who said he had been trying to adapt to life in the United States for months but had not found the peace he sought, said he is not regretful about his decision to return to Turkey.

"Not Everything Is Money"

Speaking especially to young people, Erdal said that people with a good profession can also build a life for themselves in different countries.

Erdal, who acknowledges that in America material opportunities can be accessed more quickly, argued that this alone does not equate to happiness.

Erdal, who said that spending time with friends, traveling together, and social bonds are more valuable to him than material opportunities, gave the message 'Not everything is money'.

Erdal, who said he was very satisfied with his life after returning to Turkey, said he felt happier in Istanbul.

Erdal, who noted that he is aware of the economic difficulties in Turkey, said that similar economic challenges also exist in the United States.
