In the United States, the countdown to Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping periods of the year, has begun. Ahead of the discount day on November 27, 2026, major retail chains such as Walmart, Costco and Target announced their campaign calendars.

Walmart discounts begin on November 12.
Walmart will run three major campaigns during the holiday shopping season. The first early Black Friday discounts run from November 12 to 15, the main Black Friday campaign from November 23 to 29, and Cyber Monday discounts from November 30 to December 2.
Online campaigns will start at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. In-store discounts will activate at 6:00 a.m. local time during the first two campaign periods. Walmart+ members may gain early access to certain deals.
Costco and Target will also run early campaigns.
Costco will kick off its holiday season discounts with the first Holiday Savings Sale campaign running until November 15. The company's Black Friday discounts will continue from November 16 to 30. Additionally, on November 26 only online special offers will be available. Black Friday weekend campaigns will be valid both online and in stores from November 27 to 30.
Target will offer daily deals from November 1 to December 24. The store's early Black Friday campaign will run from November 5 to 7. New, limited‑time discounts will also be announced in the following weekends.
