The world-renowned beverage giant is coming to Kocaeli! A massive facility on a 46‑hectare plot.
For PepsiCo, a massive logistics warehouse built on a 46‑hectare plot in Kocaeli will operate with a capacity of 28 trucks. The facility is expected to be completed in 2027.
A large-scale new logistics facility is being built in Kartepe district of Kocaeli for PepsiCo, one of the world's leading food and beverage companies. The facility, established on approximately 46 acres of land, is slated to be handed over to PepsiCo in the first half of 2027.

The new logistics facility rising in Kartepe is being built on a site noted for its industrial heritage.
Previously, the Bastaş-Philips plant, established in 1970 by Philips and Tekfen Holding for domestic fluorescent lamp production, stood on the site. The factory ceased operations after sustaining severe damage in the 1999 Marmara earthquake.
The land was later acquired by Pak Holding.

While the owner of the project that began in March is Ece Ticari Gayrimenkul Yatırım ve Yönetim Hizmetleri AŞ, a company of the Pak Holding family, the construction work is being carried out by Gültaş Endüstriyel İnşaat.
One of the most striking features of the new facility will be its high logistics capacity. It is noted that, thanks to the ramps in the warehouse, 28 TIRs or trucks can load and unload at the same time.
PepsiCo Facility to be Rented Long-Term
The new warehouse will not be owned by PepsiCo. It is planned that the facility, to be completed by Ece Ticari Gayrimenkul, will be leased to PepsiCo on a long‑term basis.
Construction work is expected to be completed in the first months of 2027, and the facility is expected to be delivered to PepsiCo no later than the first half of 2027.
Other Warehouses to Be Closed
With the new logistics center coming into service, PepsiCo plans to make changes to its operations in Kocaeli and the surrounding area.
According to information in the local press, when the new facility goes into operation, PepsiCo is expected to close the other warehouses it uses in the region and consolidate its logistics operations at the new center.
The facility located near the D-100 Highway and motorway connections is planned to serve as an important logistics hub in the company's distribution operations.
