According to a report from the U.S.-based Wired magazine, this closed network, which is said to be accessed by invitation, brings together politicians, leading figures from the tech world, military circles, and academics. It is reported that meetings cover topics such as artificial intelligence, defense technologies, and global power balances.
The emerging list is said to contain the names of 222 people from various fields, ranging from NATO and U.S. politics to Silicon Valley and universities.
Which Names Come from Turkey?
The list also includes names linked to Turkey. One of them is Dr. Kenan Şahin, an academic and entrepreneur who has lived in the U.S. for many years.
Having been in the U.S. for about 65 years, Şahin founded his own companies after conducting academic research at MIT and Harvard. Şahin, who provides written responses to questions directed at him, said he was invited to the phenomenon in question about five years ago.
Şahin stated that he has never met Peter Thiel and that there is no personal or professional relationship between them.
Şahin also noted that merely attending the same conference does not make someone part of a business network, and he distanced himself from the allegations against him.
Pavey and Mutlu are also mentioned.
It is noted that the names of former CHP MP Şafak Pavey and Trendyol founder Demet Mutlu also appear on the list in question.
Both individuals were asked for their views on the matter, but no response had been obtained while the story was being prepared.
The released list and connections have revived allegations that powerful figures from various sectors are gathering in closed meetings, while there are differing assessments regarding the nature of the relationship between the individuals named on the list and this formation.
