Chief of the Court of Cassation Gündoğdu arrested
In Turkey's 'judges' file' investigation, the court issued its ruling. While Chief of the Court of Cassation Ferhat Gündoğdu and four suspects were arrested, two suspects were released on judicial control with a travel ban abroad.

A decision was issued on seven suspects in the 'Referees File' investigation conducted by the Istanbul Republic Prosecutor's Office, Office of Illegal Betting and Sports Crimes.
A decision was made to try in custody the Central Referee Board Chairman Ferhat Gündoğdu, Ferdi Karadoruk, Yunus Yıldırım, Alican Sağlar and Emre Kosif.
Ahmet Şahin and Sebahattin Şahin were released under a judicial control measure imposing a travel ban abroad.
Five suspects were arrested.

It was reported that an investigation was conducted into allegations of 'harassment', 'forgery in official documents', 'abuse of trust', and 'illegally obtaining personal data' against certain suspects. The investigation evaluated open‑source research, MASAK and HTS reviews, statements from the suspect and witnesses, and expert findings.
In an Istanbul-based operation, seven people, including MHK President Gündoğdu, were detained, and after the suspects' statements to the prosecutor's office, all were transferred to the civil court judge for a detention request.
During the investigation, it was reported that Super League referee Yasin Kol and Super League assistant referee Göktuğ Hazar Erel were also detained.
