Seven arrests in the investigation targeting MHK
Under the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Cumhuriyet Public Prosecutor's Office, MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu and six MHK members were detained. The suspects were accused of mobbing, forgery in official documents, and various other charges.
Operations were carried out in Istanbul, Ankara, Elazığ, and Manisa as part of the investigation.
In addition to MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu, the Istanbul Branch President of the Association of Active Football Referees and Observers of Turkey, Ferdi Karadoruk, former MHK Vice President Ahmet Şahin, former MHK member Yunus Yıldırım, MHK member Sebahattin Şahin, organization officer Alican Sağlar, and Provincial Referee Board President Emre Kosif were taken into custody.
After the suspects underwent a health check, they were taken to the police station for processing.

It was stated that the investigation was launched in response to complaints made by some referees. The former referees alleged that certain individuals were excluded from the ranking, denied assignments, and granted privileges to some referees without objective and justified decisions.
The allegations include interference in the scoring and assignment processes, irregular changes to the referee and observer lists for 2022 and 2024, and meddling with the questions and grading process in the 2025 rule exam at Riva.
The investigation began with a complaint filed on September 15, and the file contains MASAK and HTS reports as well as expert findings.
The suspects' defenses regarding the accusations and the judicial decisions to be made in later stages of the investigation have not yet been clarified.
