Trump announces: A striking oil agreement between ABD and Venezuela
ABD Başkanı Donald Trump announced that they had reached a historic agreement on oil with Venezuela. Trump claimed that with the agreement, the U.S. would control the majority of Venezuela's proven oil reserves exceeding 65 billion barrels, while arguing that the deal would not impose any cost on American taxpayers.

U.S. President Donald Trump made statements regarding the new oil agreement with Venezuela. Announcing the deal from his social media account, Trump described the development as the "largest oil agreement in world history".
Trump said that during the agreement process, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth worked together with Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodriguez. The President also noted that the private sector was involved in the process.
Venezuela's oil reserves are on the U.S. agenda
According to Trump’s statement, the agreement foresees the U.S. gaining predominant control over Venezuela’s proven oil reserves, which are said to exceed 65 billion barrels.
The President argued that the deal would not impose any financial burden on the Washington administration. According to Trump, the new arrangement would increase U.S. oil supply while significantly raising the country’s total oil reserves.
"It will lower gasoline prices"
Trump claimed that the agreement would also yield positive results for American consumers. The U.S. President said that the increased oil supply would contribute to a significant decline in gasoline prices in the country over the long term.
Trump, who said the agreement would open the door to a new era not only in the energy sector but also in the relations between the two countries, stated that ties between Venezuela and the U.S. would become even stronger.
Trump also argued that the oil agreement would help Venezuela recover economically and achieve greater prosperity in the future.
