Trump announces: U.S. is establishing an 'AI Force'
U.S. President Trump announced that a new structure called 'AI Force' (AI Force) would be established to preserve the country's leadership in the field of artificial intelligence. Trump also launched a social media poll to change the name of artificial intelligence.
U.S. President Donald Trump, in a statement from his Truth Social account, described artificial intelligence as the 'next industrial revolution or age of the internet'.
Trump, who argued that technology would have a much larger impact on the U.S. economy, claimed that his country is ahead of other nations, including China.
Trump said he would create a structure similar to the Space Force he established during his first term, and announced that he would appoint a 'chief artificial intelligence officer' responsible for AI.
Trump said the new structure would support the growth of the artificial intelligence sector.
He wants to change the name 'Artificial Intelligence'.
Trump also argued that the term 'Artificial Intelligence' is inadequate and suggested renaming the technology.
In the social media poll he launched, he offered the options "Superior Intelligence", "Extreme Intelligence", and "Supreme Intelligence" to users.
