According to the annual health report published by the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump, who will turn 80 next month, was assessed as being in ‘perfect health.’
Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, stated that the president’s heart, lung, neurological, and overall physical functions were strong. The report indicated that he was fully fit to carry out his presidential duties.
Cognitive assessments showed that Trump scored 30 out of 30 and that his mental performance was within normal limits.
Weight loss was recommended.
According to the health report, Trump’s weight was measured at 108 kilograms. This is approximately 6 kilograms more than at last year’s check-up, and his doctor advised him to lose weight, pay attention to his diet, and increase his physical activity.
The report also stated that Trump uses medication to keep his cholesterol levels under control.
Improvement was observed in swelling in his legs.
Last year, Trump’s hand bruises and leg swelling had become a subject of public debate. In July, he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.
The latest health report indicated that the swelling in his legs had persisted but had improved compared to last year.
The hand bruises were attributed to frequent handshakes and the use of aspirin to protect his heart and blood vessels. His doctor noted that this was a common and harmless side effect of aspirin use.
Trump had previously stated that he preferred not to exercise regularly, and that he primarily engaged in golf as physical activity.
The report also noted that his demanding work schedule and daily activities contributed positively to his overall health status.
