U.S. President Donald Trump announced a new tariff increase on imports from Canada. In a post on his social‑media account, he criticized the tariffs that Canada imposes on U.S. goods and said the new arrangement will take effect on January 1, 2027.

Automotive and Clothing 50% Tariff

According to Trump's statement, tariffs on automobiles, large and small trucks, auto parts and steel products will be raised to 50 percent.
