International camp program for young people living abroad! $450 support for those joining from the United States

In cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Presidency of Turkish Communities Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), International Youth Camps will be organized for young people living abroad. Young people aged 18‑25 will be able to apply for the camps to be held in Bursa. Candidates wishing to participate in the program must complete their applications by August 31, 2026.

The camps will be held in Bursa

The International Youth Camps aim to strengthen the cultural ties of young people living abroad with Turkey and bring them together through various social activities.

Under the program, two separate camp periods will be held. The first camp, from 1‑6 October 2026, will be for male participants, and the second camp, from 8‑13 October 2026, will be for female participants. Both camps will be located at the Bursa Karacaali Youth Camp.

Participants' accommodation will be provided at facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The program is open to Turkish Republic citizens, blue card holders, or those entitled to hold a blue card. Applicants must also be living abroad and be between 18 and 25 years old.

Not having previously participated in International Youth Camps organized by YTB is also a requirement. Additionally, applicants must have no health issues that would prevent them from participating in camp activities and must agree to attend all events throughout the program.

Accommodation and Cultural Events Will Be Free

Accommodation and meal expenses for youth accepted into the camp will be covered by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The costs of historical and cultural tours organized as part of the program will also be borne by the Ministry.

For participants traveling from abroad to Turkey, YTB will provide support within limits set by country. Payments will be made upon presentation of tickets.

Travel Support Varies by Country

The travel assistance provided to participants varies according to the country of residence. For young participants from the United States, $450 is planned, and for those from European countries such as Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Austria, €200 support is foreseen.

Participants from the United Kingdom will receive £200, those from Canada will receive CAD$450, those from Australia will receive AUD$450, and participants from New Zealand will receive NZ$450 in support.

For countries such as Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway, the support amount is set at €250, while participants from other countries will receive travel assistance ranging from $150 to $250 depending on the country’s location.

Applications will be made online.

Candidates wishing to join the program must complete the online application form in full. It is also mandatory to submit a document proving residence abroad during the application.

After applications are evaluated, candidates accepted into the program will be notified by email. Candidates who receive the acceptance notice must confirm their participation within three days from the message they receive. Those who do not respond within that period will be considered to have waived their right to participate.

Detailed information will be provided to participants before the program.

Young people accepted into the camp are expected to stay in the designated accommodation area throughout the program and to participate fully in events organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and YTB.

Approval for the use of photographs and videos taken during the program on social media platforms by YTB and the Ministry of Youth and Sports is also among the application requirements.
