Bullet Fragment Struck Two Individuals
According to the NYPD's statement, a bullet fragment fired from the weapon struck a 34‑year‑old woman at the station and a nearby police officer. Both individuals sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Three People Were Taken to Hospital
The police officer who accidentally fired, the other injured officer, and a 34‑year‑old woman were taken to hospitals in the area for treatment. Police said all three were later discharged from the hospital.
