Four critical days for Bitcoin! Markets are locked into successive upcoming decisions.
Bitcoin starts the week at about $78,000, markets enter a critical four-day period. The CLARITY vote in the U.S. and the Fed's interest rate decision, as well as statements from the central banks of the U.K. and Japan, could determine whether Bitcoin can break through the $80-82,000 resistance.

Bitcoin, approximatelyat a level of 78,000 dollarsAs it enters the new week, investors' eyes are not only on the 80‑82 thousand dollar resistance zone. The four‑day critical calendar—from the CLARITY vote in the U.S. Senate to the Fed’s rate decision, and the statements from the UK and Japanese central banks—could determine the crypto market’s direction.
Bitcoin's Eyes on the 80‑82 Thousand Dollar Band
Bitcoin, which finished last week at roughly 76,800 dollars, stayed below the 77,380 dollar level where the 50‑week exponential moving average sits. In the first hours of the new week, Bitcoin pushed above that level, but a lasting close has yet to materialize.
Compared to the end of August, the technical outlook has strengthened. Bitcoin, which struggled to break 67,000 dollars for a while, later surpassed the 72‑74 thousand dollar range and climbed to 80,000 dollars. However, the failure to breach the 80‑82 thousand dollar selling zone caused the price to tighten again.
There is a CLARITY vote on Tuesday
The market's first major test of the week will take place in the United States. The Senate will hold a procedural vote that will open the way for the CLARITY bill on federal regulation of the crypto market. On Tuesday, September 15 at 21:15will take place.
The bill's passage does not mean the law will come into force directly. However, it will be an important step that will allow the bill to be considered by the Senate's plenary session. A failed vote could again pull regulatory expectations in the crypto sector into uncertainty.
Investor behavior in the market also reveals the cautious atmosphere before the decision. According to Santiment data, Bitcoin-denominated open positions in the week leading up to September 11.from 321,497 BTC to 278,151 BTCfell. The roughly 13.5% decline indicates that investors are reducing their leveraged positions before major decisions.
The Fed decision will be decisive for Bitcoin
On Wednesday, the markets will focus on the U.S. central bank, the Fed. The Fed will decide on interest ratesOn Wednesday, September 16 at 21:00will announce. Following the decision, a press conference with Fed Chair Kevin Warsh will begin.
The main expectation of the markets after strong employment data and high inflation25 basis point rate increasein that direction. If such an increase occurs, the policy rate is expected to rise to the 3.75-4% level.
The Fed's signals will not only affect the dollar and bond markets, but also directly impact risky assets such as Bitcoin.
Next up are the UK and Japan.
The activity on the central bank front will not end there. The Bank of England. On Thursday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m.will announce the interest rate decision.
During the bank's previous meeting, the policy rate was held steady at 3.75%, but the fact that three of the nine members voted in favor of a rate hike drew attention. Therefore, in the new meeting, not only the rate decision but also the distribution of votes among board members will be closely watched.
The Bank of Japan's two-day meeting, however,on Friday, September 18will conclude. The bank has kept the short-term policy rate at about 1% since June. President Kazuo Ueda's post‑meeting statements could affect global markets via movements in the yen and Japanese bond yields.
If 82,000 dollars is exceeded, 90,000 could enter the agenda.
Bitcoin's critical levels are above.80-82 thousand dollars, while below72-74 thousand dollarsstands out as.
Surpassing the $80‑$82 thousand region and closing the day above those levels could be an important signal that the upward move is gaining strength. This could be especially true if spot purchases in the United States also strengthen.$90 thousand regioncould become a target again.
In contrast, the inability to maintain the $72‑$74 thousand band could increase selling pressure. In closes below $72 thousand, $67 thousand., and in a deeper decline, the strong demand seen in June.around $60,000can be back on the agenda.
Weak demand from the US
Despite the rise in Bitcoin, the US‑centric spot demand has not yet shown strong support. The Coinbase Premium Index's approximatelydown 0.02being at a level that shows the buying pressure on Coinbase is weaker than in other major markets.
On the other hand, the rise in funding rates since the end of May indicates that the expectation of a rally in derivatives markets has not completely disappeared.
Therefore the current outlook is two‑sided. While a decline in leverage limits the risk of a sudden liquidation, weak spot demand makes it harder for Bitcoin to break through its $80,000‑$82,000 resistance.
For Bitcoin, which was trading at about $77,978 during the broadcast, the next four days will be critical both for technical levels and for the decisions of global central banks.
