The unusual theft that occurred in the Galler area of England left witnesses astonished. The suspect who entered a house without permission caught attention by cooking, doing laundry, tending to the garden and leaving a note for the homeowner.
Entered the House, Did Household Tasks
A woman returning home from work discovered that she had entered her house without permission. Yet the scene inside was markedly different from typical burglaries. A meal had been prepared, laundry was done, and some items had been rearranged.
According to a report by The New Indian Express, 36‑year‑old Damian Wojnilowicz entered a house in the Galler’s Monmouthshire area on July 16, 2024. The suspect used food available in the house to prepare a meal, arranged grocery items and carried out various household chores.
Filled Bird Feeders, Arranged Shelves
According to details emerging in court, Wojnilowicz also spent time in the house’s garden. The suspect, who filled bird feeders and organized plant pots, also emptied the recycling bin.
Inside the house, the suspect removed the packaging of newly bought shoes and tossed them into the recycling bin. He also swapped the positions of some items in the refrigerator, cooked in the kitchen, and cleaned up.
It was reported that Wojnilowicz drank the red wine found in the house, and left the bottle and the bottle opener in the living room.
Left a note for the homeowner.
The woman who noticed what had happened when she returned home was also stunned by the suspect's note.
The note read, 'Don't worry, be happy, feed yourself.'
The case, which emerged with details unlike a typical burglary, drew attention with the suspect’s unusual conduct in the home.
