Flamingo incident in Las Vegas! Canadian tourist shocked by prison.
In Las Vegas, USA, a Canadian tourist who took a flamingo named Peachy from a hotel garden and mistreated the animal was convicted of two separate crimes. The defendant faces up to four years in prison.

The Canadian tourist Mitchell Fairbarn, who took a flamingo named Peachy from the garden of the Flamingo Las Vegas hotel in Las Vegas and mistreated the animal, was found guilty by the court.
Fairbarn, from Ontario, Canada, was convicted by the Clark County jury of two separate animal cruelty charges—one severe and one minor—following the incident on March 3.
The lawsuit was brought over the flamingo named Peachy.
Initially facing four separate charges, the case against Fairbarn was narrowed by the prosecutors to actions directed solely at the flamingo named Peachy.
The defendant's lawyer Josh Tomsheck argued that his client was intoxicated at the time of the incident but had no intent to harm the flamingo. However, the jury found Fairbarn guilty of two separate charges, deeming the defense insufficient.
Facing a prison sentence of up to 4 years.
The sentence to be imposed on Mitchell Fairbarn will be determined at the hearing scheduled for December 1. The defendant could face up to four years in prison for a serious offense and up to six months for a lesser one.
The court’s ruling will also clarify the legal consequences of the incident that occurred in the hotel garden in Las Vegas.
