Turkey requested a red notice for Netanyahu
Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, stating that the investigation into the attack on activists of the Global Sumud Forum is ongoing, announced that a request was made to the Ministry of Interior to issue a red notice for Binyamin Netanyahu and Afek Moskovitch.

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said that the judicial process concerning the attack organized in international courts against the activists of the Küresel Sumud Filosu who set out to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza is ongoing.
In the 2026/108 case file of the 11th Heavy Penal Court of Istanbul, which includes 35 defendants, among them Netanyahu and Moskovitch, the trial is proceeding concerning two defendants.“Genocide”
Red Bulletin Request
Gürlek said that, following the capture orders, the Ministry of Justice requested that a red notice be issued against Netanyahu and Moskovitch at the international level, that the relevant document be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and that the Ministry of the Interior had requested the issuance of the red notice.
Two defendants; in the context of armed intervention in international waters and the detention of activists, regarding actions towards civilians carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza ““Crimes Against Humanity”, “Genocide”, “Denial of Freedom of a Qualified Individual”, “Intentional Injury”, “Harassment”, “Damage to Property”, “Targeted Killing” and “Seizure of Vehicles”stated that they were being prosecuted for those crimes.
“We Will Not Allow the Perpetrators to Be Protected by a Shield of Impunity”
Emphasizing that Turkey's stance on what is happening in Gaza will not change, Gürlek said the following:
“We do not in any way accept the understanding that the Netanyahu administration, which is carrying out a genocide policy in Gaza, is immune and unaccountable. We will not allow the crimes committed in Gaza to be covered up, nor will we permit the perpetrators to be protected by a shield of impunity. We will resolutely use all the means of national and international law.”
Gürlek finished his statement by citing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan:
“Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will continue to stand firmly beside the Palestinian people, the oppressed, and the conscience of humanity. We will resolutely take all necessary steps to hold those who commit crimes against humanity accountable before the law.”
