Will Work 40 Hours a Week
The selected doctor will serve 40 hours a week at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara's Çukurambar compound. Remote work is not an option for the position.
The doctor's primary responsibility will be to provide health services to U.S. employees and their families within the embassy who hold appropriate status. The role includes first-line care, emergency intervention, and outpatient treatment.
The doctor will also coordinate hospital referrals when necessary and participate in medical evacuation processes.
Will Also Work on Weekends and Public Holidays
The job description will not be limited to examination services. The physician will evaluate hospital admissions and medical evacuation procedures, assess staff health status in relation to duties, and provide medical advice to the Health Unit.

Minimum 3 Years of Clinical Experience Requirement
For a high‑pay position, simply graduating from medical school will not suffice. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized medical school and hold a valid, unrestricted medical license.
