In the U.S., they were lining up for this hamburger! The truth discovered by the inspector was a horror.
A video shared on social media about a restaurant alleged to operate on Route 66 in Arizona, United States, made headlines with extraordinary claims. In the video, it was alleged that the truth behind the restaurant's famous hamburgers emerged from an inspector's suspicions, and that hundreds of live snakes were found in a hidden area beneath the kitchen.

According to the account in the video shared on social media, a person named Earl Madx ran a busy roadside restaurant on Route 66 in northern Arizona for about three years. The restaurant quickly gained fame for its hamburgers called Ranchers Deluxe.
The restaurant, which allegedly sells a single hamburger for $4.75, became a popular stop for truck drivers and tourists. Customers praised the unusual flavor of the burgers, and it was claimed that the area around the restaurant fills with cars on weekends.
Anonymous Letters Raised Suspicion
According to the narration in the video, after some time anonymous letters began reaching the district health office. While the letters did not mention any disease case, they allegedly warned officials to inspect the meat.
While it was noted that the restaurant received high scores on inspections, it was said that a new inspector named Helen Ward continued to harbor doubts. During an unannounced inspection, the kitchen was clean and staff answered questions, but the inspector reportedly noticed a strong, animal-like odor coming from a vent on the floor.
Hundreds of Live Snakes Allegedly Found in Hidden Section
According to the claims shown in the video, the inspector returned to the area after the restaurant closed. While observing from the rear window, it was alleged that the restaurant owner Earl pulled aside his folded uniforms, opened a hidden cover, and descended underground.
Following that, it was alleged that the teams mobilized by the inspector's tip to call the police encountered dirty cages holding hundreds of live snakes on the basement floor. It was also claimed that a large industrial meat grinder with bloodstains was present in the same area.
It was reported that the restaurant owner was arrested at the scene and the restaurant was closed that same night.
The allegations were not verified by independent sources.
In the video, it was also alleged that local officials covered up the events out of concern that the incident would harm regional tourism. However, no independent source or official statement confirming the veracity of the described events was provided.
Therefore, the details reported about the restaurant on Route 66, its owner, and the inspector should not be treated as a verified incident.
