Ogün Sanlısoy Wind from the US to Canada: The Tour Ended in Chicago

Among the powerful and distinctive sounds of Turkish rock music, Ogün Sanlısoy successfully completed his Acoustic Tour across the U.S. & Canada in the fall of 2026. Beginning in New York and concluding in Chicago, the tour saw Sanlısoy meet music lovers in various cities across the United States and Canada, while some concerts also accompanied celebrations of the Republic by the Turkish community.

The first stop of Ogün Sanlısoy's North American tour was New York on 16 October. Performing at Drom, one of Manhattan's live‑music venues, the artist kicked off the weeks‑long North American journey.

Following New York, the tour continued on 18 October in Washington, D.C. Sanlısoy met his audience as part of the ATA‑DC Turkish Festival. The third stop of the tour was Baltimore on 21 October, where the artist appeared before his fans on the stage of Rudy’s.

Republic enthusiasm met Sanlısoy's songs.

One of the tour's notable aspects was that the concerts coincided with events organized by the Turkish‑American community.

Sanlısoy took the stage in Minnesota on 24 October as part of the TAAM Republic Ball. The program, which coincided with Republic Day, was one of the special gatherings where the Turkish community came together through music.

In addition to the ATA-DC Turkish Festival in Washington, D.C., the Republic events in Minnesota and later in Chicago gave the tour not only a musical but also a social gathering character.

After the first four stops in the United States, Ogün Sanlısoy met his audience in Canada this time.

The Canadian leg began on 31 October with a concert at Rivoli in Toronto. Sanlısoy followed immediately with a performance on 1 November at La Toscadura in Montreal. The final Canadian stop was a concert on 4 November at The Starlite Room in Edmonton.

Thus the artist brought his songs to audiences across North America, not only in U.S. cities with large Turkish communities but also in various parts of Canada.

The final of the tour, which spanned roughly three weeks, took place on November 7 in Chicago. Ogün Sanlısoy took the stage under the TACA Republic Ball program, delivering the last concert of the U.S. & Canada Acoustic Tour.

The journey that began in New York, followed by stops in Washington D.C., Baltimore, Minnesota, Toronto, Montreal, and Edmonton, concluded in Chicago. Thus Sanlısoy wrapped up his North American tour, which spanned two countries and eight cities.
