During Republic Day evenings held in New Jersey and Manhattan, the Republic enthusiasm will be experienced with beloved Turkish songs, live music, a special dinner, and dancing. On the stage of the evenings, Gizem Russell will perform unforgettable works of Turkish music.
Republic Enthusiasm Will Be Experienced in Two Separate Cities
Preparations have begun for Republic Day celebrations that will bring together the Turkish community in the United States. This year, for the first time, Gizem Russell will bring two separate evenings to life with her own organization; she will meet music lovers in Montclair, New Jersey, on October 24, and in Manhattan, New York, on October 30.
In programs specially prepared for the 103rd year of the Republic, works by artists who have left their mark on different eras of Turkish music will be performed. Participants will have the opportunity to both celebrate Republic Day and sing unforgettable Turkish songs together.
Unforgettable Songs from Sezen Aksu to Tarkan
One of the most striking parts of the evenings will be the music repertoire specially prepared by Gizem Russell.

The works of beloved Turkish music figures such as Sezen Aksu, Ajda Pekkan, Tarkan, Barış Manço, Kayahan, and Nilüfer will meet listeners with live performances.

The First Celebration on 24 October in New Jersey
The first Republic Day celebration will take place on Saturday, 24 October, at the Toros Mediterranean Turkish Cuisine restaurant in Montclair, New Jersey.
Starting at 7:00 PM and running until 10:00 PM, the event will offer guests a special dinner, a live performance by Gizem Russell, and a dance‑filled program.
The New Jersey event will allow BYOB. Participants may bring their preferred beverages. The ticket price will include dinner, live music, taxes, and tips.
Cumhuriyet Songs Will Be Performed in Manhattan
The second celebration will be held at Sahara's Turkish Cuisine restaurant in Manhattan on Friday, October 30
From 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the Republic Day festivities will be celebrated in the heart of New York
At an event starring Gizem Russell, guests will spend a night filled with a special dinner and dancing while enjoying beloved Turkish music pieces

Tickets for the Manhattan organization will include food, a live performance, one of the specified alcoholic beverage options, tax, and tip
