Turkish Wrestlers Take the Stage in Las Vegas: 30 Athletes Will Compete
In the U23 World Wrestling Championship held in Las Vegas, ABD, Turkey will compete for world medals in three categories with 30 national athletes.

Las Vegas in the U.S. state of Nevada is hosting the 23‑Year‑Old (U23) World Wrestling Championships scheduled from 10‑19 October. Turkey will participate in the event with a total of 30 athletes across women's, men's freestyle, and Greco‑Roman categories. The national wrestlers will head to the arena to earn world rankings in various weight classes.
10 National Wrestlers in Greco‑Roman Style
Turkey will be represented in Greco‑Roman style by Muhammet Emin Çakır (55 kg), Kazım Tikençe (60 kg), Servet Angi (63 kg), Azat Sarıyar (67 kg), İbrahim Özdemir (72 kg), Cengizhan Dağ (77 kg), İsmail Bereket (82 kg), Alperen Berber (87 kg), Muhittin Emre Helvacı (97 kg) and Cemal Yusuf Bakır (130 kg).

10 Athletes Will Compete in Women's Category
In the women's category, Zerda Demir (50 kg), Şevval Çayır (53 kg), Tuba Demir (55 kg), Emine Çakmak (57 kg), Sevim Akbaş (59 kg), Gülsüm Bingöl (62 kg), Ayşe Erkan (65 kg), Elif Şevval Kurt (68 kg), Hatice Nur Sarı (72 kg) and Elmira Yasin (76 kg) will compete on behalf of Turkey.
Freestyle Medal Competition
If the men compete in freestyle, Bekir Keser (57 kg), Tolga Özbek (61 kg), Yusuf Tümer (65 kg), Abdullah Toprak (70 kg), Yasin Yeşil (74 kg), İbrahim Metehan Yaprak (79 kg), Ahmet Yağan (86 kg), Fatih Altunbaş (92 kg), Rıfat Eren Gıdak (97 kg) and Hakan Büyükçingil (125 kg) will enter the bracket.
International Competition Target: World Ranking
In the announced event scheduled for 12‑18 October, wrestlers under 23 from various countries will compete against each other. Turkey’s 30‑member delegation will vie for medals in three categories, while the championship’s young athletes will demonstrate their performance on the international stage.
