Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo lost his life following an aesthetic procedure he underwent in Thailand. The death of the 43‑year‑old Ubiribo was determined to have been caused by a pulmonary embolism resulting from the filler used during the procedure. The businessman, known for his lavish lifestyle, was laid to rest in a gold casket—allegedly of high value—at a funeral service held in London.

He Went Viral After the Cosmetic Procedure

Ubiribo, who had about 185,000 Instagram followers, went to Bangkok with his wife Danielle Simba Allen in March. There, the businessman received an aesthetic procedure aimed at enlarging the penis, during which approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected.

After the procedure, Ubiribo, who went to a massage with his wife, soon began experiencing chest pain. After losing consciousness twice, he was taken to the hospital.

Doctors Fought to Save His Life

Upon arrival at the hospital, the possibility of a pulmonary embolism was evaluated for Ubiribo, who could communicate with the medical staff, and a CT scan was scheduled.

However, the businessman who lost consciousness again before any examination could be performed was taken to intensive care. Although medical teams performed CPR and resuscitation for more than 100 minutes, Ubiribo could not be revived. His death occurred in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

Autopsy Revealed the Cause of Death

After Ubiribo's death, a forensic investigation conducted in the United Kingdom yielded striking findings.

During the autopsy, the material found in the lungs was determined to be compatible with the hyaluronic acid used in the cosmetic procedure. The assessment concluded that the death was caused by a pulmonary embolism linked to the procedure.

Details of the Golden Coffin at the Funeral

Ubiribo's funeral ceremony also drew attention at least as much as his death. The ceremony held in London in May reportedly buried the businessman in a golden coffin, said to be worth more than $745,000 according to news outlets.

It was reported that Afrobeats artist Davido also attended the funeral.

He was known for his lavish lifestyle.

Known on social media as “Tiny,” “Denisi,” and “Ego,” Ubiribo highlighted his luxurious lifestyle in his posts.

According to press reports, he owned a house in Los Angeles worth about $1.1 million and an apartment in London worth about $600 thousand. Details of Ubiribo's death, who had married fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen in 2022, surfaced months later when the results of the legal proceedings in the UK were made public.
