In the United States, one of the custom‑designed 'Champions Way' street signs used at the championship entrance held by the New York Knicks in June was put up for auction. The sign, which has become a piece of New York's sports history, attracted attention with a sale price in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Memorial Sign Sold for 30,500 Dollars
The auction that began at the end of July concluded on Wednesday night. The highest bid for the blue and orange sign was 30,500 dollars. Including taxes, the total sale price reached 35,531.36 dollars.
116 Bids Were Placed
During the auction process, a total of 116 bids were submitted for the sign. After the price rose above $10,000 in the final hour of the auction, the competition continued between two bidders. The identity of the purchaser was not disclosed.
Historic Moment at Canyon of Heroes
A total of 30 specially prepared 'Champions Way' signs were installed along the famous Canyon of Heroes route in New York during the Knicks' championship parade in June. The sign that was auctioned also belonged to this special series.

Knicks Tickets Also Pursue Records
Ticket prices for the Knicks' post-championship season opener also revealed striking figures. On Thursday, the lowest price listed on StubHub hovered around $1,800, while the most expensive seat on the sidelines went up for sale at about $70,000.
Season Opens with Philadelphia Match
The New York Knicks will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, October 20, in the first game of the new season. The matchup will be the first time Knicks fans can watch LeBron James in action wearing the Philadelphia uniform.
