Two Women Lost Their Lives

It was announced that the driver of the Chevrolet brand car was 42‑year‑old Ayesha Wright, a resident of Newark. It was also reported that 25‑year‑old Kendra Rouse, who was a passenger in the vehicle, lives in Newark. Police said that Wright and Rouse died at the scene of the accident from injuries they sustained.

Truck Driver Slightly Injured

The truck driver involved in the crash emerged from the incident with only minor injuries. Officials said they had no further details about the driver's condition. It was reported that an investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.

After the fatal crash, lane closures were implemented on I-78 East, and drivers faced delays.
