Massive Raid in Queens: Fentanyl, Cocaine and Weapons Found
In a raid on a house in New York, a large amount of fentanyl, cocaine, crack and MDMA, as well as weapons, were seized. Two brothers were charged.
In the United States, two brothers living in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York, were charged with running a large‑scale drug trafficking operation. In July, a raid was carried out on the home of 42‑year‑old Jemmal Bryan and his 43‑year‑old sister Keana Bryan. The Nassau County District Attorney announced that the house contained enough fentanyl to kill half a million people.
Officials said that, in addition to fentanyl, cocaine, crack, and MDMA pills were seized during the raid. It was also reported that fentanyl packaged in various colors was found at the house.
The Investigation Began with Overdose Cases
It was announced that the investigation was launched after the same type of drug packages repeatedly appeared in overdose cases in Nassau County. According to the prosecutor, the packages bore the name “Bruce Banner.” The colors on the packages were said to indicate the potency of the drug. This trail led police to the brothers’ home in Queens.
Thousands of Packages Found
Police teams found weapons in addition to drugs at the house. During the search, about 5,000 empty drug bags and 2,000 ready‑to‑sell packages were seized. The prosecutor said the findings support the claim that the house was used for packaging and preparing drugs for distribution.
3 More Suspects Arrested
Under the investigation, three more individuals named Leo Duchnowski, Ian Sharkey and Jennifer Loheide were arrested. Prosecutors alleged that these persons assisted in the transportation and distribution of drugs. Various conspiracy charges were brought against the three suspects.
Claim of Earnings Exceeding $75,000
Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly alleged that Jemmal Bryan earned more than $75,000 from drug sales within about six months. Prosecutors also claimed that Bryan said he controlled the drug trade in Long Island during phone conversations.
Arrested Siblings Deny Drug Trafficking Charges
Jemmal Bryan is accused of large‑scale drug trafficking, while Keana Bryan faces conspiracy and drug‑sales charges. Both siblings refused to accept the accusations in court. The defendants' next hearing is scheduled for October 6, 2026.
