Öztürk, drawing attention to fruit vendors, “The most important job here is fruit selling,”He used those expressions. Öztürk said that fruits sell for about 7 dollars, and that such sales require permits and licenses, arguing that because permits are limited, the business could be seen as a taxi plate.
Öztürk said that photographers in Times Square also benefit from the heavy tourist traffic, explaining that they get tourists to pose briefly and charge about 10 dollars per photo.
In the video, Öztürk also showed street performers, stating that some people earn money by dancing, some by wearing costumes, and others by taking photos with tourists.
One of the most striking moments was a person showing the snake he carried to tourists. Öztürk said he took the snake in his hand for $5 and noted that the animal was quite heavy.
Öztürk noted that people walking the streets of New York in various costumes also earn money by taking photos with tourists, specifically stating that those in gorilla costumes generate income through this method.
