In warnings issued from U.S. embassies in Baghdad, Beirut, Kuwait, and Manama, it was noted that clashes between Saudi Arabia and Iran‑backed Houthi forces could quickly intensify.

U.S. citizens were urged to be prepared for possible flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions.

The statements also warned that Iran and its supported groups could target U.S.-linked sites.

The State Department’s current travel advisories also advise against traveling to Iraq and Lebanon, and recommend reassessing travel to Kuwait and Bahrain.
