Spot Bitcoin ETFs listed in the United States achieved the strongest three‑week performance of 2026 by generating a total net inflow of $3.8 billion over the last three weeks. While Bitcoin hovered around the $80,000 level, the renewed investor interest drew attention.

Strong Demand for Spot Bitcoin Funds

According to SoSoValue data, spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States recorded a net inflow of $986.9 million in the week ending on Friday. Thus the three‑week total inflow rose to $3.8 billion.

The funds’ total net asset value fell from the $103.3 billion level reached on Thursday to $101.3 billion on Friday. Cumulative net inflow since the funds’ inception reached $55.6 billion.

Bitcoin Falls While Money Flows into Funds

Although Bitcoin briefly dipped below $79,000 from $81,200 on Friday, spot ETFs ended the day with a net inflow.

Daily net inflow was $174.6 million, a noticeable drop compared with the roughly $731 million inflow recorded the previous day.

Largest Share in BlackRock's Fund

According to Farside Investors data, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) fund recorded a net inflow of $117.4 million on Friday, accounting for roughly 67% of the total daily inflow on its own.

Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) also recorded a $57.2 million inflow. No significant net inflow or outflow was observed in other spot Bitcoin ETFs.

Employment Data Pressed Bitcoin

It was noted that the pullback in Bitcoin occurred after the U.S. nonfarm payroll data released exceeded expectations.

Strong employment data bolstered expectations that the Fed could raise rates at its September meeting, while increasing pressure on Bitcoin, which offers no yield.

Interest in Ethereum and XRP funds declined.

Demand for Bitcoin funds rose, but the same momentum was not seen in Ethereum and XRP funds. Spot Bitcoin ETF weekly net inflows rose 7% from the previous week, while Ethereum funds fell 74% and XRP funds fell 83%.

Weekly inflows into Ethereum funds fell from $824.4 million to $218.4 million, while the figure for XRP funds dropped from $110.5 million to $19 million.

Nonetheless, since the beginning of the year, Ethereum funds have achieved net inflows of $863 million, while XRP funds have totaled $515 million.
