Victim Psychology and Self-Sabotage
It may be one of humanity's most dangerous diseases, that immense curiosity of the mind to sabotage itself. Is it from the collective?

Or is it a genetic coding based on ancestral transmissions? Unknown, but each person's mind contains a certain amount, the disease of self‑sabotage… The quantity determines how a person's life will shape itself.
Each of us already has a constantly speaking village head inside. 'No, do it that way, no, why did you do this? No, why didn't you say that at that moment? No, why didn't you punish the other? blah blah…' Sometimes it seems like it will fall silent, 'Oh, it’s gone! I finally got to be alone with myself again,' you say, then suddenly it starts again like a torn piece of ice; the cigarette you place at the corner of your mouth, your hunched back and the hands you clasp behind you, babbling as you wander around the surroundings… It neither stops, ends, nor leaves.
And it has a unique feature: it never hesitates to use its greatest weapon, which is to keep you trapped in an endless victim psychology. Deep down it knows that otherwise it would be impossible for it to rule over you.
So who is this village head? Is it the id? The ego? An alter ego? Or is it one of Jung's archetypes that he keeps hammering at constantly?
Human beings are multilayered entities, and these multiple layers sometimes lead to a structure resembling multiple personality disorder. If you sit down and try to observe yourself, and if you can see how many of you there are, you would be astonished by this magnificent multiplicity. Sometimes they keep a rhythm like an orchestra, yet in general they tend to maintain their existence like constantly repeating defective records within themselves.
As all ancient teachings say, the main thing to do is for a person to observe themselves. Look, even in this sentence there is plurality. The person, self, observer… In this state, it should not be surprising that all religious and moral teachings try to unite the human being, because to bring the orchestra and the village head under control, it is essential to unite the plurality.
What if we don't do this? A force trapping us in a victim psychology rambles on. Our system cannot function healthily and becomes paralyzed. The personalities he thrusts before us control us like puppets on strings. If the mind-controlling force decides who we should be on that day, it makes us that. Moreover, while shifting from one archetype to another, we often find ourselves in one's captivity.
If this archetype is a warrior, we fight everything, heroically; we find ourselves in the stories where we strive to be heroes—so why victims?
The most dangerous point here is that a person trapped in a victim psychology can do nothing, producing no healthy thought for themselves or others, except blaming others. According to this view, every happening's cause is others. That's because this person did this to him, and he can never overcome what was done to him. Then follow other accusations—first, then fourth, fifth, and so on; this goes on like this. Since the person can never escape the victim psychology, taking control and helping himself becomes impossible, and self-sabotage becomes inevitable, preventing him from living a healthy life.
What can we do to prevent this? First, we need to understand the muppet with our mind and nature. Why is he there and what does he want? Then, we need to take control of our mind, because the muppet already represents the unconscious mind, i.e., the subconscious collective. To be aware of this state, we must keep it protected at all times, so we can stay present. The most powerful weapon for staying present is breath.
Every person must be constantly aware of the breath they give and take, so their mind and muppet can be brought back to center from wherever they drift. It may seem simple but is quite difficult. Even after thirty minutes of trying, we realize how arduous it is to maintain awareness, but with practice and making this a part of life; the person can protect themselves from their inner muppet's anger, falling into victim psychology, and self-sabotage.
